University Pathways To Social Enterprise

SEG partners with local universities to cultivate the next generation of changemakers.

We support students who are launching ventures, building inclusive businesses, and seeking to drive system-level change. Some gain hands-on experience through internships; others receive direct support to grow their entrepreneurial ideas.

All are connected to the tools, networks, and resources they need to turn their passion for impact into real-world solutions for Rhode Island’s most pressing challenges.

“The biggest takeaway from this experience is to push yourself out of your comfort zone. Chance ,founder of PVD World Music, has taught me to always be curious and never be afraid to ask for help. The special thing about SEG and the Providence community is the support we garner from each other and the ability to motivate each other to grow… I soon realized that confidence is key.”
